During the week of August 16th, just as schools were opening up around Florida and Governor Ron DeSantis was fighting to ban local districts from instituting mask mandates to protect our children,

More than 220 Floridians were dying each day of Covid-19.

It didn’t have to be this way. Ron DeSantis made it this way.

Fighting the best public health guidance we have at every turn during this pandemic: masks, gathering sizes, business closures, safety in schools. Governor Ron DeSantis’s ignorance, or worse, is sickening and killing Floridians.
